This K5-A is the nicest pre-Solid State mixer I've seen - looks barely used!

This white Hobart-produced KitchenAid K5-A Mixer was manufactured on Thursday, September 7th, 1978 (25078), and just received an extensive refresh, to include new gaskets, grease, pins, o-ring, and a new 3-prong cord installed (with the ground wire connected to the stator stud behind the bearing bracket, as it should). Take comfort in knowing Matt's Mixer Repair offers a one-year warranty and completely stands behind every item sold. And Delivery is available!

Includes: Stand Mixer, pristine whisk, dough hook, and flat beater. Unfortunately, when using the original stainless steel bowl and the flat beater, there was some bowl interference. I found the nicest replacement bowl I have in stock - and now it sounds perfect.

Paint Condition: 9/10. There are some very minimal marks and signs of use in the paint, plus one larger scratch on the base next to the pedestal (visible in pictures) and a defect on the side of the base (see pictures)

Mechanical: 9/10. This is a solid mixer in very good condition internally. Machine was thoroughly cleaned and regreased using Phillips 66 Food Machinery Grease. The mixer is very smooth and has very little fluctuation throughout the speeds. As all K5-As are, it is on the louder side, but the gears look barely used, so this should give you decades of reliable service.

Other: The bowl has obvious signs of use, but is in working condition.
