Certified Mixer – Certification Checklist

Each Certified mixer has completed the following inspection and service process:

Mechanical & Component Service

  • Full disassembly and inspection of all internal and external components
  •  New KitchenAid (OEM) center shaft installed
  •  New KitchenAid (OEM) agitator shaft installed
  •  New KitchenAid (OEM) gaskets and O-rings installed throughout
  • Gearcase cleaned and regreased with food-grade Phillips 66 Food Machinery Grease
  • Bearings, gears, and drive components inspected for wear and proper tolerance
  • Fasteners checked and torqued to specification

Attachments & Accessories

  •  New KitchenAid (OEM) bowl included
  •  All new KitchenAid (OEM) attachments included (appropriate to model)

Electrical & Safety Inspection

  • Power switch, wiring, and controls inspected
  • Motor operation verified under load
  • Safety guards and interlocks inspected (if applicable)

Cleaning & Finish

  • Thorough professional cleaning of all food-contact and external surfaces
  • Mixer cleaned and prepared for kitchen use

Performance Testing

  • Mixer tested under real-world load using a bagel dough recipe
  • Speed selection, torque, and consistency verified
  • Noise, vibration, and heat checked during operation

Final Quality Check

  • Final operational inspection completed
  • Certified by Matt’s Mixer Repair
  • Approved for sale as Certified
